Viene utilizzato quando ingegneri, costruttori o tecnici hanno bisogno di sapere quanto una struttura, una superficie o un macchinario si sta inclinando. I moderni inclinometri sono compatti, precisi e basati sulla tecnologia MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems), il che li rende facili da integrare nelle attrezzature da campo.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Come funziona<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Il principio \u00e8 semplice: la gravit\u00e0 agisce sull&#8217;elemento di rilevamento all&#8217;interno del dispositivo. Questo spostamento viene convertito in un segnale elettrico, che viene poi elaborato per calcolare l&#8217;angolo di inclinazione. A seconda del design, gli inclinometri possono misurare uno o due assi.
