Door de wind veroorzaakte krachten kunnen een aanzienlijke dynamische respons veroorzaken die kan leiden tot schade aan de constructie. In het geval van telecommunicatietorens kan dit ook leiden tot verstoring van de signaaloverdracht.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Daarom moeten ontwerpcriteria voor slanke constructies dynamische stijfheid bevatten die afhangt van de belangrijkste resonantiefrequenties en inherente constructiedemping. Deze eigenschappen moeten worden gemeten wanneer de constructie voor het eerst wordt gebouwd en vergeleken met de ontwerpgegevens. Het wordt ook aanbevolen om ze te meten tijdens onderhoudswerkzaamheden.  <\/p>\n<p>Bovendien wordt in ruige\/winderige omgevingen de permanente monitoring van structuurtrillingen aanbevolen. De natuurlijke frequenties van een constructie kunnen immers worden verkregen uit versnellingsmetingen en de verschuivingen van deze natuurlijke frequenties kunnen een goed criterium zijn voor de evaluatie van de integriteit van de constructie, waardoor preventieve actie kan worden ondernomen. <\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_3&#8243;
