In het algemeen zijn de belangrijkste kwesties voor het ontwerp van een TMA voor installatie in centrales als volgt: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Toegestane materialen: Materialen die gebruikt worden voor de productie van de TMA moeten goedgekeurd worden door de eindgebruiker. Dit is een lang proces, maar het kan worden verkort door exact hetzelfde materiaal te gebruiken als het bestaande materiaal. Dit kan problematisch zijn als de materiaalsoort niet meer bestaat of als het niet geschikt is voor langdurige vermoeiingsbelasting.  <\/li>\n<li>Vermoeiingsberekening: Veiligheid is een kritieke kwestie in energiecentrales en TMA worden blootgesteld aan een aanzienlijk hoog aantal cycli (&gt;miljarden). Er moet een specifieke vermoeiingsanalyse worden uitgevoerd om de levensduur van belangrijke onderdelen van de TMA (buigstaven) te bepalen en om geschikte vervangingsperioden te defini\u00ebren die compatibel zijn met het onderhoudsschema van de machine. <\/li>\n<li>Installatie en onderhoud met geaccrediteerde mensen: Om in een elektriciteitscentrale te mogen werken, moet het personeel speciale accreditaties hebben die vereist zijn voor de installatie en de bijbehorende documentatie.
